Mr. Mayers is a founding partner of Mayers, Mennies & Sherr. In his over 25 years of practice Mr. Mayers has successfully litigated hundreds of jury trials, bench trials, and compulsory, contractual and private arbitrations to verdict in State Court, Federal Court and in alternative dispute resolution forums. He is proud of the relationships he has forged with his clients and the reputation he has earned in the courtroom and out for solving his client's most difficult problems. Mr. Mayers has been awarded Martindale Hubbell's highest AV Preeminent peer review rating. He has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for five consecutive years 2007 - 2011.

Mr. Mayers graduated from The University of Pittsburgh in 1980. He received his law degree from Duquesne University in 1983. During law school he was a finalist in the school’s client counseling competition. Mr. Mayers served as a law clerk to the Honorable Perry J. Shertz of The Pennsylvania Superior Court in 1983. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Mayers has lectured on a variety of topics for a variety of organizations and insurance companies including the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU).

Mr. Mayers specializes in all aspects of insurance defense and personal injury litigation as well as affirmative lawsuits on behalf of insurance carriers. He has extensive experience in matters involving auto liability, property and casualty insurance fraud, first and third party benefits, bad faith, uninsured and underinsured motorist benefits, property claims, insurance coverage, class actions, products liability and commercial litigation.
